Workdays that don’t end at 5 pm
Not all workdays end at 5 pm.
Certain jobs don’t follow this schedule for various reasons. This includes jobs that involve establishments which need to run on a 24 hour basis with day shifts and night shifts.
These night shifts may start sometime around 6 pm and end the next morning other jobs may require some form of paid overtime as well necessitating an extension to the existing or preconceived workdays which most people are used to. However most regular end of workdays are more or less a relation to the 5 pm time period.
